The Fletch days were awesome.
ReplyDeleteDavid Letterman was awesome about three decades ago. Now he's not either.
I'm with you. His lovability has expired. Bill Murray is still lovable, though.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he isn't as awesome as he was, but aren't you being a little hard on the Chev?
ReplyDeleteMy dad looked so much like Chevy Chase when I was a kid that I honestly thought that they were the same person. Yes. Yes I was a little bit "inventive" as a child. Anyway, Chevy is not so awesome anymore granted, but you love to hate him on Community. They exploit the heck out of his sheer lack of awesomeness. Poor Chevy.

ReplyDeleteI propose that it was Bill Murray's project choices that made him keep his lovability, and not any "change" in acting talent. (Royal Tenn and Lost in Translation. vs. Community? No chance.)
ReplyDeleteand whats the deal with his contempt for Jane Curtain? I say bury the hatchet!
