I always get a little nervous when I throw my lot in with Will.I.am of The Black Eyed Peas. I think to myself, "Well, it's probably a good idea but then again--I don't really know him that well. . ." In this case I think it's a good decision: Will.I.am and Herbie Hancock can't both be wrong.
Seriously, The West Wing ruined me for real politics. So when something comes along that seems like it was written by Josh Lyman and Toby Ziegler, I fall for it pretty hard. Just last weekend I found out that a friend in my ward is what Josh was for Matt Santos, except in his case Matt Santos is Chris Cannon. I was impressed! It was like when I found out that Christian's grandpa was basically the same as Colonel Potter. That really makes me proud.

ReplyDeleteI understand the West Wing thing. I think a truly smart candidate would hire Aaron Sorkin to do all his writing...I'd vote for him--especially if they could do those long continuous, walking down the hallway shots with lots of quippy dialogue...don't you wonder how Josh and Toby are doing?
